In
just four decades, the UCLA School
of Dentistry has evolved into
one of the leading dental schools in the world. The impact of
this extraordinary institution can be seen in its ability to
attract academically excellent and culturally diverse faculty
and students, in its advances in multidisciplinary research,
and in an outstanding record of public service benefiting more
than 150,000 patients each year. The School now stands poised
to build upon this remarkable record with a campaign to raise
$30 million to strengthen the School’s endowment.
The Apollonian Society of the UCLA
School of Dentistry is a support group of alumni and friends
dedicated to the academic and overall excellence of the School.
The Apollonian Society sponsors the annual White Coat Ceremony
for first-year students and other activities and programs to
benefit all dental students. Membership categories are: New Graduates;
Recent Graduates; Regular Members; Patron Members and Founding
Members. The School of Dentistry has also
launched a campaign to finance the long overdue renovation of
its fourth-floor Preclinical Teaching Laboratory. This renovation
