| The
UCLA
School of Law is the nation’s youngest top-tier law
school, currently ranked 16 by the authoritative U.S. News &
World Report. The School’s distinguished offerings include
the nation’s oldest clinical program, the Program in Public
Interest Law and Policy, the Tribal Learning and Education
Exchange, the Evan Frankel Environmental Law Clinic, the Charles
R. Williams Institute, and nine joint
degree programs with other UCLA departments.
UCLA Law is renowned for its dedication
to quality teaching. Increasing the number of endowed faculty
chairs is critical to providing the means to support and recognize
the School’s distinguished professors. Student
fellowships are also vital, as differential fees and tuition
have more than doubled in the last two years.
State and university budget shortfalls make
financial support from alumni and friends all the more important.
Gifts to the Law Annual Fund, estate gifts, and endowment gifts
to scholarships and faculty chairs enable us to provide the best
possible legal training to our students and a supported, productive
and welcome environment for our faculty. |
